Yael Stone

Stone was brought up at Sydney, Australia, where she went to the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stone's career in acting began when she was an infant, as she played in Me Myself I. and The Farm. The main area of her work was theater. Stone was awarded Best Newcomer at the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actress for The Kid. The television show she appeared on featured support parts on All Saints, Spirited and other shows. She also starred on the screen in The Diary of a Madman. The role won her a second nomination at the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. In February of 2011 she went across the country to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman, before returning to principal roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
